After a 20 minute drive along beautiful Stockton Beach we will uncover the hidden "Tin City" emerging out of the dunes like a mirage! Learn about the indigenous and military history of the dunes, and dig for pippis before heading into the massive dunes for some optional sand boarding fun!!

About Birubi Point Lower Carpark

On the end of James Paterson Street, Anna Bay. Go through the sealed car park, down to the lower gravel car park. Then look for the white caravan with 3 flags on top in the corner of the car park, and the army camo painted bus. Parking is free of charge.

Dress Code

Dress for the weather. We suggest beach clothes during the summer and warmer clothes during winter. Hats, sunscreen and sunglasses are recommended.
Sand Boarding is done barefoot, you can wear your shoes up to the location and take them off there.

Weather Information

Tours are subject to cancellation for your safety. Because weather is very unpredictable, we may cancel with very late notice under extreme conditions.
We will cancel tours in the event of lightning and electrical storms, torrential rain and gale force winds.
After it has rained or during showers is the best conditions for sand boarding, as the sand is at its smoothest for sliding on :)
